Inshore/Nearshore Fishing
The Indian River Lagoon, Bananna River Lagoon, Sebastian River, Eau Gallie River, and Crane Creek are the most common areas around Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, and Sebastian Florida to catch inshore species of fish. When inshore fishing we usually catch Speckled Sea Trout, Flounder, Redfish, Pompano, Sheepshead, Bluefish, Jack Cravalle, ocasionally Tarpon, and several species of Shark. Weather and sea conditions permitting, we can go out near-shore to catch some offshore species such as Tripletail and Mackerel. Night Fishing
Night fishing trips can be alot of fun for both children and adults. We comonly catch Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Red Fish, and Snook just to name a few. Fishing at night is a great way to beat Florida's heat and sun and still have a good time on the water most evening trips run from 6-10 p.m. but time can be adjusted if need be, nighttime trips can be a very rewarding experience. Just make sure to nap young children so they can enjoy the evening too. The Captain
As a Florida fishing guide with decades of expierence, from commercial fishing, shrimping, and longlining, to charter fishing, Captain Chris has become a very successful, versatile fisherman.
Captain Chris has fished in the Carribean, Mexico, Honduras, as well as the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. He has extensive knowledge in fish catching tactics for bottom dwellers as well as pelagics.
Captain Chris has fished his entire life, heck it's what he does on his days off! He loves to catch fish but more than that he loves to see other people catch fish especially newbies and children. Captain Chris likes to impart his love of saltwater to others in every way possible he is an avid fisherman, diver, boater and just an all out salt water enthusiast. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100 ton masters license, holds multiple endorsements and having been a captain in the oil field he has operated in all kinds of weather from hurricanes and tropical storms to northeasters and even been run over by a few water spouts and struck by lightning. His experience makes him a very versatile captain and fisherman, truth is there ain't much out there he hasn't seen or been through. He was even published in the Florida Sportsman magazine at age 6. Captain Chris is a highly versatile fisherman, he is proficient in many styles of live bait and artificial techniques. His passion is Fishing and is constantly reading and experimenting with new technology and techniques so he can be a complete angler.
